I made these Hi8 videos in 1998, and then I edited them on computers in 2005. I composed the background music, and recorded the instruments with software. When I finished I published them on my first web site. Today I'm doing all new stuff on my new blog site, but I'm still posting the old stuff, too. I hope you enjoy it! Video: The Zoo, Music: Shuffle to the Beat
Here's more of the same Hi8 videos from 1998 & on. Some of the zoo videos I made at the Los Angeles Zoo, and some I made at the San Diego Zoo in California. I edited the videos on computer, and composed the background music with software. Video: The Zoo 2 Music: Move the Beat
These old videos from 1998 are all recorded on a Hi8 cam, and then edited on computers. I composed my own background music with computer software, and for this I used Cakewalk Sonar. The instruments you hear are software instruments, the music is mixed, and then recorded as Mp3's. San Diego, California Video: The Zoo 3 Music: Walk, Talk, & Groove
I've been doing a little monkey businessing around, and it was all done at the world famous San Diego Zoo in California (at least while I was on vacation there). 1998 Video: Monkey Business 2 2005 Music: Do the Shuffle Walk
This is one of my most watched videos on my old web site www_yourwordislove.com, and on You Tube, too. I wonder why, but I think it has to do with more monkey business. 1998 Hi8 Video: Monkey Business Music: Jungle Beat
This lion at the world famous San Diego Zoo can't get a roar in edgewise without all the background noise, and distractions. I made this to be a humorous video, and the background sounds are from my Pinnacle Systems video editing software. Video: Lion & Sound Music: Excite
Here I am at the Long Beach Aquarium in California, and I've been making more Hi8 videos. When I go on my day trips I carry a tripod, a camera bag (sometimes both 35mm & Hi8 cameras), 35mm film, Hi8 blank tapes, and some accessories. Video: Aquarium Life Music: Sea Life
I made various photo & video trips starting in 1998, and this video is from a trip to the gardens. Video: In the Garden Music: Watch the Flowers Grow
I made another trip to the gardens, and this time through the hot house to video tape orchids somewhere in southern California. Video: Orchids Music: Exotic
Here are six videos from The Los Angeles Zoo, the San Diego Zoo, and the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific 1998 thru 2002. "Zoo Trip" has no background music, "ZooTrip 2, 3, & 4" have background music, "Aquarium" & "Under the Sea" have background music. In the video "Under the Sea" I like the line I use "here we are under the sea with my fine fishy friends". In the video "Aquarium" watch the seal in the background as I say the line "he can do that." It was Disneyland, Ca 1999, and I was all set to watch the entertainment (I just love musicals). I had my Sony Hi8 cam there with me to record it, and I used a tripod.
Animazement - The Musical opened in Disneyland’s Fantasyland Theatre in June 1998. “You’re just in time for a singing crustacean, a Belle and bellringer, a girl who’s fish, and the wish that would bring her...”
— opening lines from Animazement
Take a seat in the Fantasyland Theatre for the show that brings animation to life—and puts characters from different animated movies onto the same stage and even into the same scenes.
The content of Animazement came from seven Disney features from a relatively brief period of Disney animation history: The Little Mermaid (1989), Beauty & the Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992), The Lion King (1994), Pocahontas (1995), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), and Hercules (1997).
Animazement closed in October 2001 after a long run, The next shows at the Fantasyland Theatre were Minnie’s Christmas Party (holiday season 2001), and Mickey’s Detective School - A Musical Toondunit (opened April 2002).
